Transforming lives through digital literacy.

“It’s simply going to open up your world!” – Anel Trujillo, learner at the NeighborNest

When Anel Trujillo needed secure housing and a job, she discovered that all the applications were online. As someone with low digital literacy, Anel hit a brick wall and realized she needed help, fast. Fortunately, CTN was on hand at the Twitter NeighborNest to open a window of opportunity. With our help, she was able to create a great resume and apply for employment, and having mastered the right computer skills, it was only a matter of time…

In the last 3 years alone, we have helped over a thousand learners like Anel Trujillo. And we believe that helping individuals has an impact on the wider community: “When we educate those in need, it not only changes their lives but the lives of those around them.” – Heather Schmidt, CTN Senior Program Manager

Community Tech Network meets and helps people in the communities where they live.

By connecting local community members with resources and education, we make a profound and measurable difference in people’s lives. We have empowered thousands of low-income residents not only to become digitally literate, but also to give back to their communities as technology advocates, mentors, and trainers.
