Nominate a Digital Leader in San Francisco

  • February 19, 2020
  • Digital Leader Awards

The fifth annual Digital Leaders Awards is happening on May 20 at Twitter HQ in San Francisco. It will bring together prominent community and business leaders to celebrate the people and organizations that work hard every day to promote digital inclusion.

If you know a person, organization, funder, or company doing exemplary work to close the digital divide in San Francisco, nominate them for an award today! Perhaps this individual or company is offering free computer classes for seniors, supporting youth interested in a career in technology, or perhaps providing financial or in-kind support to make services like this possible.

Nominations close on April 3, 2020. Here is a link to the nomination form where you can nominate a person or entity in one or all of the categories listed below. All nominees must be doing work in the City & County of San Francisco.

  • Digital Champion Award: This award recognizes an INDIVIDUAL for his or her work supporting digital inclusion in the community.
  • Digital Inclusion in the Community: This award goes to a NONPROFIT or GOVERNMENT AGENCY that supports community development goals through digital inclusion activities.
  • Digital Amplifier Award: This award goes to a BUSINESS or PHILANTHROPIC AGENCY that has invested time, talent and/or grants to the digital inclusion cause.
  • Digital Bridge Builder: This award goes to a COMPANY or ORGANIZATION that has simplified online experiences.

Questions? Please direct them to DigitalLeaders@communitytechnetwork.org. For information about last year’s event, see a recap here.
